Dr. Bruhn received her bachelor of science degree from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern School of Medicine in Dallas, Texas. While there, Dr. Bruhn was named OB/GYN student of the year. She continued her training by completing an OB/GYN residency through the University of Texas Medical Center at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas and was named Outstanding Intern of the Year and later served as chief resident. Dr. Bruhn is a member of the American College of Obstctricians and Gynecologists and the American Medical Association. Melissa, a native of Omaha, Nebraska, comes to Thomasville with her husband, Donald, and son, Jacob.
