A native of Kentucky, Dr. Reynolds completed his bachelor's degree in pharmacy at the University of Kentucky in 1956 and received his degree in medicine in 1966. He completed an internship at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah in 1967 and his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in 1970. He has two children and two grandchildren.
